All the instructors at Brixham Karate Club possess a vast knowledge of karate, which we are eager to pass on to anyone who wishes to join our club. Our dedication to the art ensures a high-quality learning experience for every student.
Sensei Dan's journey
Sensei Dan joined Brixham Karate Club in the early 90's, training alongside his Dad. He gained his black belt in 2002 and second degree black belt in 2004. He then went on to compete at club, county, and National level, bringing a wealth of competitive experience to his teaching. After joining the Army in 2007 and serving in Iraq and Afghanistan he left the forces and returned to his home town of Brixham and continued his development in Karate. He then took over Brixham SKC in 2020 after the previous instructor retired and handed him the position of chief instructor of Brixham SKC. He gained his third degree black belt in 2024, further proving his abilities and understanding in the art.
